Accessibility

Access to the Park Hilaria site

From 31 July to 9 August, the Park Hilaria site is accessible to motorised vehicles only between 11:00 AM and 1:30 PM. Before 11:00 AM, the site is being cleaned and no vehicles are permitted to enter.

Parking for commercial vehicles

Commercial vehicles (including vans and trucks) are only permitted on the fairground site during setup and for loading and unloading. To maintain the appearance of the event and preserve parking for visitors, please do not park directly next to the site. Parking alongside the Fontys University of Applied Sciences campus is strictly prohibited, as this area serves as an emergency access route for both Park Hilaria and Fontys. Parking commercial vehicles behind your attraction is not permitted, with the exception of stock and refrigerated vehicles for food and beverage vendors, which may be placed behind the attraction in consultation with the event team.

Parking for passenger cars

During Park Hilaria, passenger cars can be parked in the Fontys parking garage at Rachelsmolen, located west of the event site. During the event, security staff will be stationed at the Montgomerylaan–Rachelsmolen intersection. Only passenger cars displaying a valid parking pass are permitted to enter. Parking passes can be collected from the production office behind the first aid post.

Unfortunately, there is no free alternative this year for vehicles that are too high or too wide for the parking garage. These vehicles can park at the TU/e campus.

Zero-emission zone

Since 1 January 2025, a zero-emission zone has been in effect for vans and lorries. All newly registered vans and lorries must be fully emission-free to enter the zone. A low-emission zone also applies to diesel buses with emission class 5 or lower. For diesel passenger cars with emission class 4 or lower, the low-emission zone will take effect on 1 January 2027.

Vans with emission classes 0–4, as well as polluting lorries that were more than 8 years old on 1 January 2025, are no longer permitted to enter the zero-emission zone. A transitional arrangement applies to other polluting vans and lorries.

Compliance with these regulations is essential to help create an emission-free city centre. The rules are actively enforced. If you enter the zero-emission or low-emission zone with a vehicle that does not meet the requirements, you will automatically receive a fine. The fine is €130 for passenger cars, vans, and buses, and €320 for lorries, excluding administrative fees.

We separate waste. Paper and general waste containers are available at various locations throughout the site.

Low-stimulus hours

Brainport Eindhoven is known as the smartest region in the Netherlands. The region is also home to twice as many people with autism as the rest of the country. Partly for this reason, Park Hilaria has featured a fixed sensory-friendly moment for several years now. Visitors appreciate this initiative enormously every year. This year, once again, we want to offer people who are sensitive to sensory stimuli a moment of calm. That's why we ask you to operate without music or lighting on Monday 3 August, from 14:00 to 16:00.

Together, let's make it another two wonderful low-stimulus hours!

Sound

The long-term average assessment level (LAr,LT) resulting from music and/or public address systems, measured in accordance with the Manual for Measuring and Calculating Industrial Noise (1999 edition) and assessed in accordance with that manual, must not exceed the levels specified in the table below at the façades of the nearest residential properties and other noise-sensitive buildings.
