General information

The Kennedylaan in Eindhoven will be transformed into Park Hilaria, a temporary amusement park, from 1 August to 10 August. In addition to more than a hundred spectacular and nostalgic fairground attractions, Park Hilaria offers lively pavement cafés and live performances on various themed squares. This varied mix guarantees great summer entertainment for all ages.

Friday and Saturday        from 2pm to 12:30 am

ADMISSION

Admission to the park is free of charge. The live performances in Hollario are also open to all visitors without charge. Visitors are not permitted to bring alcoholic beverages into the park and consume them there.

CASH DISPENSERS

The nearest ATM is the Geldmaat near Albert Heijn 18 Septemberplein.

Hollario Party Tent

The program in the Hollario party tent is fun for all ages. Every evening from 7pm, there will be a big party with live performances by various Dutch artists. On weekends, the program starts at 3pm. Exact performance times are not announced. 

recycle system

All terraces located in the middle of the fairground use a recycling system. With your first drink, you pay a € 1,00 plastic tax. For each subsequent drink, you exchange your used cup for a clean one. Heading home? Hand in your cup and receive a token for the next day. Lost your cup? Then you'll pay € 1,00 again. Together we keep Park Hilaria clean!

Physical disability? 

Park Hilaria is accessible for people with disabilities. However, the central and side medians of the Kennedylaan are relatively high, and a large part of the central median is grass. Ramps are available at various locations, and there is an accessible toilet at the First Aid post. Disabled parking is located at Rachelsmolen.

You can park your car at the University of Technology area (TU/e). Follow the signs directing towards the city centre and follow Tu/e. The day rate is 10 euros per day. 

There are also parking spaces available for people with disabilities. 
There is also disabled parking space at Rachelsmolen at the Fontys area. You can reach this parking space via Rachelsmolen, coming from Montgomerylaan.

Traffic diversions

Near Kennedylaan, traffic at the ring road in Eindhoven has to take traffic diversions into account during Park Hilaria.

A part of Kennedylaan, between Vincent van den Heuvellaan and ring road, is closed for traffic starting July 25th. Traffic coming from Kennedylaan heading north of the city centre will be detoured via Onze Lieve Vrouwestraat, Insulindelaan, Professor Doctor Dorgelolaan. Coming from the city centre heading north, traffic will be detoured via Professor Doctor Dorgelolaan, Insulindelaan, Onze Lieve Vrouwestraat.

From August 1st until August 10th, the Woensel Watermolen area will be closed as well. Only local traffic is allowed to enter the area.

public transport

Park Hilaria is easily accessible by train or bus. The area is at walking distance from Central Station. Travel information can be found at www.ns.nl

TOILETS

The toilet facilities at Park Hilaria are free of charge. An accesible toilet and a baby changing room are available at the First Aid post (located halfway along the park). 

DOGS

Dogs are allowed at Park Hilaria, provided they are kept on a leash. 

 

RULES OF CONDUCT


To ensure that everyone enjoys their visit to Park Hilaria, a few rules of conduct apply on the fairground area. Anyone violating these rules may be denied entry to Park Hilaria. CCTV surveillance is in operation throughout the park.

  1. The following are prohibited:
    - Disturbing public order or violating the rules of conduct;
    - Entering or being on the premises with (motor)bikes or other vehicles;
    - Trading goods on the premises without the express permission of Park Hilaria;
    - Carrying out promotional activities on or around the premises without permission from Park Hilaria.

  2.  Any form of undesirable behavior will not be tolerated.

  3. We keep Park Hilaria clean together – but we do not retrieve deposit cans or bottles from the bins!

  4. Visiting Park Hilaria is entirely at your own risk.

Bike parking facilities

You can park your bike at the secure bike parks near the main entrance at the city centre side of Park Hilaria and near the entrance at the north side. The daily rate is € 1,00 per bike and € 1,50 for mopeds / scooters / motorcycle.

Taxi

There are plenty of taxis available which will take you right home. You can find the taxis near the main entrance at Vincent van den Heuvellaan.

ALLERGIES OR SPECIAL DIETS

There's plenty to enjoy at Park Hilaria! Did you know that the poffertjes at the Poffertjessalon are 100% vegan, and that you can get vegetarian bratwursts at the Biergarten? Both the Hollario terrace and the Biergarten offer gluten-free beer as well.
