Jack van Raamsdonk was born in 1963 in ’s-Hertogenbosch. At just 9 years old, he was already singing songs by artists like Jan Boezeroen and Henk Elsink. In 1978, Jack joined the dance and show orchestra Sunlight Music, and later became a member of the band Exit. One of the most well-known songs he was involved in is the pub anthem Leve de lol.
One of his own biggest hits is Sri Lanka — a track that never fails to bring the house down. Both young and old go wild for this signature hit by Jack van Raamsdonk. His performances are always a celebration of recognition, filled with hits from past and present. A true entertainer, Jack knows how to bring every venue to life with his wide-ranging repertoire.
His motto? "Gas erop!" — and he certainly lives by it. Jack gives it his all at every show. The moment he grabs the microphone, the roof is guaranteed to come off.
